CHPS Registered Program Requirements

Ensure that greener, healthier schools are being built today for your students. Take these steps towards building high performance schools with the CHPS Registered program.

Step 1: Join CHPS Registered for free!

The CHPS Registered program provides free access to CHPS tools and resources needed to educate the school district community about the benefits of high performance educational facilities.

• Benefit from access to CHPS high performance tools and resources
• Receive member discounts on CHPS goods, services and events

Step 2: Submit CHPS Annual Report (Required)

To renew membership, school district staff are required to complete a CHPS Registered Annual Report. Submitting the report will ensure that your school district continues to receive the benefits of membership. This report will include information about current, completed and future projects. There is no charge for submitting a report and requires minimal time investment. The CHPS Registered Annual Report includes:

• General contact information for school or school district
• Status of school district projects: current, completed and future projects
• Information about project financing and design team
• High performance policies or standardized practices
• Receive member discounts on CHPS goods, services and events
• Program feedback and challenges (optional)

Step 3: Pass a high performance Resolution (Optional)

Adopting a high performance resolution at the board or trustee level is the next step in establishing a high performance program for your school or school district. Passing a CHPS Resolution formalizes your school or district commitment to buidling high performance schools, establishes district priorities and provides structure for program implementation.
