NE-CHPS Criteria

Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) has adapted the CHPS Criteria for Northeast schools. NEEP provides education and outreach to school districts and design firms on high performance school building.

The NE-CHPS Criteria is a regional guideline based on CHPS. It was developed with input from state departments of education from across New England and will be used by the majority of the states as a standard for school construction funding.

Schools in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island are eligible to use NE-CHPS.
