"TX-CHPS is a rating system that focuses exclusively on K-12 facilities and is customized to address the challenges and issues that are specifically relevant to Texas schools. For example, the TX-CHPS system acknowledges the climate in Texas varies significantly from climes in California or New York. It also recognizes the regional climate varies significantly from Houston to Amarillo, and therefore provides options that are specific to the varying Texas schools and their region." --Laura Flannery Sachtleben SHW Group TX-CHPS Advisory Board Member |
