Yocham, M.Ed. TX-CHPS Advisory Board Member Director of Facility Planning and Construction Humble Independent School District Deborah, a native Houstonian, has been a professional educator for more than 25 years. She received her Masters of Educational Administration from the University of Houston and has worked in several southeast Texas school districts. With teaching experience at both the elementary and middle schools, she has also served as Assistant Principal and Principal at both the elementary and secondary levels in both the public and private sectors of education. Currently Director of Facility Planning and Construction in Humble Independent School District, Deborah relies on a wealth of experiences to lead a fast growth district through unprecedented facility planning and construction phases. She has worked with the District’s Go Green initiative to bring best practices, sustainability and quality learning environments to every Humble ISD student. Recently Deborah served on the committee to bring TX-CHPS to fruition and is currently in the construction stage for a LEED certified and TX-CHPS Verified elementary school. Ed Wansing CHPS Technical Programs Coordinator Ed has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University. He is the Emerging Green Builders National Committee Chairman and is a member of the Middle Tennessee USGBC board of directors. Ed joins the CHPS team to champion and run the CHPS Verified program and to support the CHPS Technical Committee.
